The “power mesh” along the waistband makes these pants super uncomfortable. As soon as you sweat even a little it gets incredible itchy. I do a lot of high-intensity strength training and interval training so sweating is going to happen. About 10 minutes into my workout I was folding down the waistband to try to get some relief, which kind of defeats my whole interest in these pants- I like high waisted workout pants. I’ll be honest- i really wasn’t looking for “tummy control”; these were just affordable pants that were available. But having worn them, I have my doubts this mesh provides much control- it seems just as stretchy as the outer material, but it definitely makes wearing them unpleasant. I wish I’d known how awful this mesh was before I bought them. I kind of waffled between 2 and 3 stars because I think without the mesh these would be ok pants- they seem durable and the non-mesh material is soft. But that mesh is just so irritating. I bet if you found a pair of pants by this brand that didn’t have the “power mesh” they’d be decent pants. Read more

I have other Bally pants and were hoping these would be similar. Unfortunately, a few issues: 1) fabric doesn’t wear well. Color fades a lot unlike my other Bally bottoms. 2) seams are in very awkward places – not logical. I wouldn’t buy again Read more

After trying three times to get gym pants that look good and fit well, this is it. They’re fitted, without being revealingly tight, a little looser at the ankle, well proportioned, a true XL. Wish they had them in navy, as well, but will definitely be ordering the gray. Read more

This was sized wrong is a small and Marked a large. I have bought this before and I know my size this is about a foot too short and definitely sized strong. I was on vacation and when I came home it was too late to return it I am hoping I still can. Read more

The pants are nicely made, but by the sizing, Bally is contributing to making girls/women feel fatter than they are. I have never seen a pair of pants that had the audacity to mark a true size Medium as an XL. Read more

I have another pair of these pants in the same size but different color, so I was surprised that this pair was a bit smaller. It fits more snuggly, mostly around the thighs and the length is just a tad shorter. The fabric is super soft and they are extremely comfortable to wear all day. I will definitely be buying another pair in the future. Read more
