I have used this binocular for many years. This is a great pair of binocular if it was used properly. This binocular is big and heavy and therefore was not designed for observing moving objects. Especially at high power zoom, you would have trouble even finding the object because of the high magnification. Without a sturdy tripod, you are going to be tired easily and would not be able to stay on the object easily. However, if you use this binocular, with a tripod, to observe stationary or very slow moving object, this binocular would be great. You first would use the lowest zoom to find the object and then slowly zoom to a higher power. I would suggest this binocular is not really usable without a tripod and it comes with a tripod adapter! With a tripod, you can even use this binocular for star gazing because some small astronomical telescopes are only 60mm and this binocular has two 70mm telescopes. Read more

I gave these binoculars a terrible review and they only deserved a third of it. For under $80 I guess you get what you pay for. But they have a pretty narrow field of view and they constantly need refocused. They were so far out of collimation that They were almost impossible to figure out what either tube was looking at.. I went on youtube and found how to adjust them and it took a little over an hour trying to focus on distant tree tops. If you set them at 12x then zoom in you have to do a lot of focusing. So make sure you have some micro flat tip screwdrivers before you get one of these Read more

These are bad quality. They are lighter than I expected. On a bright partly cloudy day things looked dark and there was a haze around the edges of the image. I had double vision through most of the focal range. At 60x it was extremely shaky even when mounted to a tripod. Pictures are of a water tower about 500yds away at 12x and 60x. Over all, don’t waste your money, these are super cheap and do not work well. Read more

These have the makings of a really good pair of binolulars. However, the pair i got has a dioptar adjust problem and there is no way i can get the right eye to focus with the left. I can focus the left or right eye, but nit both at the same time. In the focused eye, there is good clarity and minimal edge distortion and i love the zoom range. I just wish both eyes would focus at the same time. Read more

Great well made and super durable binoculars. The field of view is just too narrow, even at it’s lowest setting like looking through a tube. I do like the other Barska binoculars I have and their telescope too. I really like my Barska 20-140×80 binoculars. They are awesome!!! Read more

    7. Michael Lynskey

These binoculars are quite large, as one would expect with a light field of 70 and a zoom mag of 12 to 60. Images were not clear at 60, but a good image at 40. They still have great value. Read more

This unit looks good but… When at minimum magnification focus is good with good clarity. The greater the zoom, the poorer the clarity. Using a tripod can’t fix that! No reason to buy such an awkward unit when it cannot deliver the zoom. A real disappointment. Read more
