I’m a shade under 6’1″. I’m 230 lbs. I have a bigger chest, bigger arms, and a bit of a belly. Always had a problem with finding shirts that fit right. I find myself stuck between XL and XXL. XL could give me too much squeeze, not allowing my armpits to breathe and cause them to sweat more, which is uncomfortable. Other problem is that many XL are just a tad too short for me. So I’ve decided to size up these days for most shirts to XXL since I’d rather be more comfortable but there’s also problems with going up to that size. Some of them can just be a bit too big. I got this shirt in XXL and it is my favorite shirt. The fit is perfect. This is considered “fitted” which is between their “compression” and their “loose” fits. Has length I need so you won’t see belly if I raise my arms. Doesn’t have the excess material/bagginess that I sometimes find with an XXL. It’s lightweight but I’d definitely wear this shirt for everyday stuff. It just feels great and looks good on me. Already ordered another one. Read more

I’m 6’2″, 190, slim build. Most short/wide shirts barely come down to my waste and poof out at the bottom, making me look like a doofus. These Raid shirts are nice and long—just don’t buy one that’s too big, like the ones in these Amazon photos, which look terrible. I wear a large and it fits me perfectly. These things are awesomely comfortable and they seem to last forever. Nice, stretchy material. I’ve owned a couple for 2 years and they are the only shirts that have lasted me without being replaced. My husband loves these shirts for going to the gym, since they don’t show sweat and dry out quickly. He also wears them in the summer, to our son’s baseball tournaments when it’s 100 degrees, and they keep him cooler and protected from the sun. They fit true to size, wash and dry without shrinking or fading, and don’t wrinkle easily even in a suitcase. I’ve gotten him probably six of them in various colors and he loves them all. Read more

It is a bit on the small size for UA gear: Another shirt produced by this company in a large fits like an XL version of this one. Otherwise: Good shirt, can’t complain. The material is light and comfortable. The decorative stitching is vibrant and seems sturdy, though the exact lines have a ‘squaring’ effect, so if you’re especially vain and want to show off your huge shoulders, keep that in mind I guess. I hope you like tags. Because this shirt has the obnoxious tags on the side seam. The material feels cheese and scratchy I ordered a 2xl and it’s STILL tight in the shoulders causing the sleeves to poof out. I’m typically an XL and for athletic brands I order a size up to accommodate my frame. I’ve never had a problem Garbage product and if I’m going to spend this much on a shirt I expect it to be high quality. Read more

These are awesome synthetic moisture wicking shirts for hiking. Unlike most clothing you find in stores these days for overweight people, the fit on these is not relaxed, it’s fit true to size. The back side of the shirt has a different texture, kind of like a checker pattern that helps perspiration escape. I’m on my third shirt right now as the backpack seems to do a number of the back of these shirts, but I’ll keep buying them as long as UA makes them. Read more

This is the perfect workout shirt. Tailored fit is perfect on my body type all around. I’m 6-0, 170, kinda slim, and the medium fits perfectly. One note, this is not a great top for sports that leave you drenched in sweat (basketball, spin classes, running on a hot day). Hold moisture and gets heavy on humid days, need to stick with Nike Dri-fit for those conditions. But damn, this shirt does look good! Read more

You like UA brands & materials. Check. You’re not a gym-rat, but you like wearing more athletic shirts on occasion. Not to tight, but snug. This particular cut was supposed to be just that. But… It fit more like a compression shirt, which resembles a “2nd skin” fit. If you’re not a male model, that kind of cut isn’t for you, bro. Just trust me there lol… That said, this shirt’s cut wasn’t as advertised; it fit almost a size too small & even then — the elastic would come squeeze any remaining gaps. If that’s YOUR THING, then buy this. If not, go for the “loose” version. Also, it’s very thin. Lightweight, but see-thru in spots. Heads up, fellas… Read more
