I have a pair of vintage Zeiss 10×52 binoculars that belonged to my grandfather. Absolutely magnificent piece of work. But they’re big, heavy and expensive. Not the best suited for hiking. So I was looking for something small and lighter but with decent optics. These are exactly what I was looking for. Excellent quality. Very sharp, crisp optics. Light and easy to pack. Quite simple to adjust. I realize that these are not top of the line Leupolds, but for the price I am extremely impressed. Just what I wanted. These are made in the Philippines 🇵🇭 (Hell of a lot better than China 🇨🇳!) Highly recommend Thanks for reading Read more

Leupold never disappoints. As a Tower Crane Operator of 13 years, a good pair of compact binoculars always remains in the cab with me. The Rogue 10×25 is a perfect fit for my needs. Easy adjustments, clear, sharp, compact, waterproof Performance in low light is good. Easy to stow when not in use. I would proudly recommend these to anyone looking for a fairly priced set of quality, compact binoculars and already have. Read more

Bought these based on Leupold reputation and that many feel 8×42 is ideal for finding and seeing wildlife. I’ve never had a Leupold product before but was impressed by some of their other products. These are light weight and have impressive clarity. I really like the rugged feel and how the lenses are set back a bit and appear better protected than other binoculars but theses are larger than identically powered competitor binoculars. Some of the reviews mention trouble adjusting the focus -I am not experiencing this. My only complaint is that the strap was a bit hard to attach. I will update after returning from Yellow Stone! Back from Yellow Stone. They worked beautifully. They were easy to use, images were crisp and bright and they held up in the rain. Only complaint was that at some of the longer ranges, the eight power magnification was not quite enough. No fault of the binoculars but if going to Yellow Stone, an 8×25 may not be quite enough. these are really nice binos. the picture is clear from edge to edge, fast and accurate focus, they feel great in hand with a shape and texture that makes it super easy to hold for long periods without getting tired hands, the screw out eye cups are perfect with or without glasses on, the picture is clear in daylight and even at night. waterproof as well. spend the few extra bucks and get these instead of the cheapo field glasses you were just looking at…. they are worth the extra bucks. these blow my nikon 8×40’s away… seriously. I use them at sporting events in dusty venues and they are great. now i know why the Leupold products are so well regarded by enthusiasts… they make a product that will exceed your expectations. Bought this for my mom so she can scan the horizons for her sheep and cattle. The 10x Rogue I have for myself she tried out and said it was too powerful for her and causing the shakey-effect. This 8x she likes and is compact enough for her to carry in her camelbak on walks. Bought it for her in 2015 and dont know the fate of it now as she probably lost it like many quality things I buy her…but she manages to keep other sub-standard no-name brands for decades. As for my personal 10x, it did very well in Iraq, here in the States for coyotes, glassing hillsides for jackrabbits and placing on top of a tripod (flat-based) to spot ‘trace’ at 800 yds. Sharp optics, excellent focus, best without eyeglasses, strap can be replaced with 550 cord. This is not a Zeiss or Steiner or “V” Razor…….but it works well as a compact optic. Read more

I bought these to keep in my Jeep. I wanted something compact and light weight and these fit the bill. They are easy to focus and have excellent clarity. They also work well if you wear glasses. I like them and would buy them again. Read more

I have been duly impressed with the visual quality of these binoculars. I was able to even see deer moving in the fog last week that I could barely see with my bare eyes, and definitely couldn’t see at all through my riflescope. Read more

I bought these to use during field surveys of butterflies and they are perfect for that kind of thing, namely getting magnification on a tiny thing at close range. These would also be great for back yard or close range bird viewing (within 100 ft). However, they weren’t great for looking at soaring hawks or the eagle that was across a lake from me (~500-700 ft). I really like them and they are perfect for my purposes, but they wouldn’t be for everyone. Read more
