Dual-Color Illuminated Reticle, Standard Mil-Dot Reticle

This scope does not have the illuminated reticle feature. The description says it does, but the item you receive will not have it. I have not used the scope, but it mounted just fine to my rifle and appears to be fine. But understand that you are not getting what you think you are, and you aren’t getting what you paid for. This scope does not have a place for a battery, and it does not illuminate. If you look at the pictures, you will see some have a spot for the battery on the eyepiece, behind the adjustment knobs. Some pictures show a scope without this. Buyer beware. Read more

I paid a grand total of $63.59 from Amazon. it’s aesthetically sound in my opinion, somewhat ACOG-esque. It comes with lens caps. Did you know Leupold lens caps are as high as $80 for one of the two caps? The glass is very clear and the reticle is incredibly sharp for a scope in this price range. TRUGLO’s customer service is awesome. I had a hinged lens cap fail on a TRUGLO TRU-Brite 30 Series 1-6 X 24mm, they sent me a new one free of charge in less than a week. This scope doesn’t come boxed with hinged lens caps. It’s boxed with see-through yellow tinted caps connected by elastic cords; they do the job quite nicely. I own a few Leupold scopes and Trijicon ACOG’s, some costing 15 times the amount of this TRUGLO TRU-BRITE Xtreme so, you can believe me when I say this is a great little scope. It claims to be a combat scope. I run it on a CZ 512 Tactical .22 Magnum. Honestly, if you run it a .223/5.56 you’re gonna push it. I read guys are running ’em on AK’s but man, that’s gotta be pushin’ it; there’s no buffer. I’d really be reluctant to run it on a Mini 14 much less a Mini-30, even with an adjustable gas block. It’s a $70 riflescope. Keep in mind, some subscribe to the notion that a scope should cost as much or more than the rifle. I obviously think there are a few more pertinent factors involved in the decision-making process. Subsequently, I think you’ll be a very happy buyer if you purchase it for a tactical rimfire rifle or any rimfire rifle you determine it will render itself aesthetically pleasing. Read more

Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is my friend and I both got the same scope. Both of us had issues with loose hardware (rings, eyepiece, turret knobs) but after a little locktite and some more tightening it seems like a fairly reliable lower-end scope. Read more

I mounted this on my Carbon 15, the Holographic scope that came on the gun was not good at all. After breaking in the barrel in I just didn’t like the old scope so I found this one because my father bought a Truglo for his 30/50 and said it was great. I am very happy with this scope for my fun gun it was worth the money…. Read more

Product is exactly as described, but Scope rings did not align with Picatinny rail slots – no big deal Allen wrench supplied allowed for easy adjustment A series of tests at 25 yards disclosed a frustrating condition – first mounting – 3 shots: all 3 south of “X” ring, adjustment made and 2 of 3 hits in “X” ring; Verification with 3 more shots – all three hits north-east of “x” ring; Adjustments made; back to 2/3 in “X” ring; Verification: all 3 shots south of “X” ring. Adjustments made – no hits in “X” – all hits in 10 ring If you are satisfied with hits in the 9 and 10 ring this scope may be OK, for you, This is the second TruGlo Scope I have tried – the first one was sent back for the same reason – would not hold “0” Read more
