Bought the “2-7×32 Rimfire – V-Plex MOA” and mounted it to a 22LR Savage B22 FV bolt action using medium sized, Vortex 1″ scope rings. The scope is bigger than I expected — 11.75″ long, and the eyepiece diameter is a little over 1.75″. Per usual with Vortex products, the glass is extremely high quality for the price, and the scope lets in a LOT of light even in dim/dusk conditions. The one thing I’m not in love with is that the eye relief is kind of pain, which is NOT at all the scope’s fault. Because of where the mounts are on the B22 LV (21″) and because I’m a tall guy with a long neck, I have to crane my head farther back on the cheek rest to get a clean picture than is natural for me. That said, this is far easier to get a clean image than most scopes I’ve looked through. Highly recommended. Read more

I needed something for my MP15-22 and I didn’t want to break the bank. I wanted a variable optic vs a red dot for this rifle, and this is perfect. I got the 2-7x Rimfire model and I really like it! The eye relief is really good, and for $120 I can’t complain one bit! The glass is really good too. I posted some cell phone pictures (best I could take) looking through the scope at 2x, 4.5x, and 7x. Looks good to me! Read more

I purchased this scope recently and was slightly hesitant due to the price. The first thing I want to point out is how well it was packaged. They made sure that regardless of how it was handled in shipping, the scope would maintain its quality. different layers of foam to maintain where it sits in the box, and the box itself was very sturdy I will make sure to update this review as soon as I get the chance to go out again with how well it maintains zeroes, and how clear it is in different weather. As of right now, it is definitely a 5 star scope. Will be purchasing another soon! I have already had a few friends interested in purchasing one as well. EDIT: I finally got around to getting it put on my rifle and using it today (9/28). This scope has stayed inside the box since buying it, and since putting it on, I’ve kept it in my gun case. I noticed today that the eyepiece is bent down slightly near the power ring. It doesn’t seem like it affects the optic, but I’m not very impressed that it’s bent like that. I’ve made sure that this optic was in a safe spot where it couldn’t be damaged, and this is what I find it. The extra magnification it has is awful. It shouldn’t even be added. No point in trying to increase after 7x zoom. EDIT #2: Wow! I am so impressed with the customer service at Vortex! After contacting them for the eye piece being bent, they had asked me to return the scope, and they received, and sent back a brand new one within 4 days! Althought there are a couple slight flaws to the scope, I will have to say that I will continue shopping with Vortex. Thank you Vortex for making great optics, but also for the amazing customer service you provided after this mishap! Because of the customer service alone, you now have a lifetime customer! Read more

Mounted to a Ruger Precision Rimfire used 100+ yards. Glass is great and holds dead on zero. Ok its a rimfire but does get bumped around some in matches. Image is very bright even in less than optimal light. Eye relief is also as good as my other Vortex scopes. If you shoot rimfire this is the scope for you. True the radical is just a simple crosshair and doesn’t have holdover dots but for the price you can’t beat it. Read more

Awesome Scope, just what I needed. The ability to zero the turrets is awesome. I sighted in my ruger 10/22 at 50 yards knowing that 8 clicks will adjust for 25/75 yards in either direction. Mounted using leopold medium rings, could probably have used low rings without a problem. Read more

Great scope for my Ruger American .22. I used the medium DNZ Game Reaper mount and the bolt clears fine. with the higher cheek comb installed on the rifle my eye lines up perfect with the rear objective. For the money I’m not sure I could have gotten a better deal. I really had wanted to purchase a Leupold 2×7 for my rifle but didn’t really have the budget for that scope at this time. So I went this route and couldn’t be happier. Vortex makes great scopes and this one shows it. Exceptional clarity with the glass and has a great look on the rifle. I didn’t want to buy a really cheap scope that I would end up getting rid of or replacing later on. This scope is for sure one of my favorites. Read more

I put this scope on my CZ 455 rifle with the Talley CZ one inch high rings- the rings are made specifically for the CZ455. Scope has fairly large rear objective but the Talley high rings makes it work fine. Easy to setup and zero. Optics are good- clear, no apparent color issues- on a rimfire rifle you don’t expect recoil issues- rifle is a tack driver and scope hold zero at all settings- good scope for the money- Read more
