I love this scope. The glass is the best glass of any scope I’ve ever owned. There is a reason why German optics and glass are considered the best in the world, and this scope reinforces that reputation. Personally, I enjoy a simple reticle that doesn’t distract the shooter, but drives the eye towards the center of the viewing area and the ZMOA performs that purpose perfectly. The BDC built in allows immediate hold over corrections. Similarly, the construction of the scope is great. The scope is light and rather compact. The elevation and windage adjustments are tactically crisp and exact with no “mushiness“ between clicks whatsoever. One of the nicest features is the zero-stop, or what Zeiss calls, the Ballistic Stop. Setting the ‘stop’ is very easy and is metal on metal. There are no plastic pieces that can be stressed, or broken, by a minor over exertion of a quick elevation change. There’s only one thing I would like addressed, and that is the Torx screw that holds the elevation turret down. If one is not careful, the screw could break. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the scope. I now have a scope that is as equally at home on a Daniel Defense 3-gun rifle as it is on my .308 Bolt action for deer hunting and hot hunting. I am not sure what the 1 star reviewer is talking about with widgets and what not sounds more like web talk from a bot. This scope has amazing glass and every adjustment works as it should, tactile clicks and the focus is nice and tight. I did not want to put the V8 on my hunting rifle and the V6 fills the gap. The only negative I have about this scope is they do not include flip up caps, that should be a given for any scope in this price range. Read more

This scope gets many things right. Good tactile and audible turrets, Great Glass and lens coatings for a vivid image, exceptional water proofing, and the weight is right. I can see well before legal shooting light with my V6 and have put it through the paces in competition and hunting conditions. Read more

Thought I would try a Vortex, broken right out of the box, went back to my favorite and ordered a Zeiss, and was not disappointed! Read more
